Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Aiden Burn was a character featured in the CBS TV series CSI: NY. She was played by Vanessa Ferlito.
Aiden was a Brooklyn native who had the ability to adapt to new situations very quickly and had a love and drive for her job similar to that of Sara Sidle on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Vanessa Ferlito was born December 28, 1980 in Brooklyn, New York. She is an American actress of Italian American descent. Her parents owned a local hair salon. Her father died when she was three years old.

Ferlito portrayed Claudia during 24's third season and had a small part in Spider-Man 2, but she is mostly known for her role as Detective Aiden Burn on CSI: New York. She chose to leave the show because she wanted to go back to New York.

Ferlito gave birth to her first child in September 2007. She is a vegetarian, supporter of animal rights, and an active member of PETA. She is best known for her roles in Man of the House and Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. Even though she is of Italian descent she often plays Hispanics on TV and film.

The Women of CSI: Jennifer Angell / Emmanuelle Vaugier

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Jennifer "Jen" Angell is a character from CSI: NY, played by Emmanuelle Vaugier.

Angell is a detective who often briefs the CSIs at their crime scenes. She first appeared in "People With Money," after the murder of Aiden Burn. She has four older brothers and her father is a detective sergeant, as mentioned in the episode "Commuted Sentences." Mutual interest between Flack and Angell has been hinted at in several episodes.

In episode 413 "All in the Family," Flack called her 'Jess,' presumably a nickname for Jessica, causing a bit of confusion for the viewers. However, it could also be a nickname for Jennifer. Also, it seems that Emmanuelle Vaugier was originally credited as Jennifer Angell but that credit changed to Jessica Angell mid-season 4 with no explanation.

Emmanuelle Vaugier was born June 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is a Canadian film and television actress. Her biggest roles to date have perhaps been as Dr. Helen Bryce on Smallville, as Mia on Two and a Half Men and as Jennifer Angell on CSI: New York. In feature films Vaugier has appeared alongside Michael Caine and Robert Duvall in Secondhand Lions. She appeared as Addison in Saw II and Saw IV, and had a supporting role in the Josh Hartnett film 40 Days and 40 Nights.

The Women of CSI: Lindsay Monroe / Anna Belknap

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Lindsay Monroe is a character from the TV series CSI: NY. She is portrayed by actress Anna Belknap.
Lindsay is a native of Bozeman, Montana. Her Midwestern manners, such as removing her shoes before entering a suspect's home, are a novelty to her co-workers. Because of her roots, she is particularly sensitive about cases in which the victim comes from a small town. Ten years before her arrival in New York, she was the lone witness to a multiple homicide in which four of her friends were killed (episode 312, "Silent Night"). This event is what both motivates and hinders her as a CSI, as it has also left some deep scars; she finds it difficult to talk to mothers of crime victims (episode 305, "Oedipus Hex"), and is particularly rattled by the sight of deceased girls.

Anna Belknap was born May 22, 1972 in Damariscotta, Maine, U.S. She joined the cast of CSI: NY during the second season starting in the episode "Zoo York" as Lindsay Monroe from Bozeman, Montana. She has also acted in NBC's "Law & Order", Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (as a rape victim in the episode "Manhunt"), Without a Trace ("Endgame" and "Showdown"), Medical Investigation, and The Handler. Her surname is pronounced "Bell nap." The "k" is silent.

Stella is Mac Taylor's second-in-command and right-hand woman in the New York Police Department's crime lab. She started her career working as a patrol officer and once worked Narcotics out of Brooklyn North. She has a very strong personality and her determination to solve a crime and help victims sometimes leads her to step on the toes of those who get in her way. She has at least four complaints on her record as a result. Stella is often referred to as the 'Statue of Liberty', due to her strong personality, determination and intelligence.

Melina Eleni Kanakaredes (born April 23, 1967 in Akron, Ohio) is a Daytime Emmy Award-nominated Greek-American actress, but she is most widely known for two starring roles on U.S. prime-time television drama series: playing Det. Kanakaredes' first TV role was on the daytime drama Guiding Light, originating the role of Eleni Andros Spaulding Cooper from 1991 to 1995. She was nominated twice for the Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Eleni.

Her most high-profile roles on television were as the series protagonist Dr. Sydney Hansen on Providence (TV series), which ran for five TV seasons (1999–2002), and since 2004 in a leading role on the CBS-TV drama series CSI: NY as the detective Stella Bonasera.

Her other television credits include NYPD Blue (in a recurring role as reporter Benita Alden during that TV show's second season), Northern Exposure, Due South, Oz (TV series), The Practice, MTV's The Ben Stiller Show, and a Hallmark Hall of Fame adaptation of the Anne Tyler novel Saint Maybe.

Her appearances in movies include The Long Kiss Goodnight as Trin and 15 Minutes as Nicolette Karas, the girlfriend of Robert De Niro's character. She was considered for the lead role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding but had to turn it down due to her pregnancy.

Kanakaredes was born in Akron, Ohio, in a Greek-American family. She is a second-generation American and she is fluent in Greek. Her two maternal uncles own and run a candy store in Akron called "Temo's Candy Company", a chocolate store established in its current location by Kanakaredes' great-uncle Christ Temo. Melina Kanakaredes graduated from the Firestone High School in Akron. She attended the Ohio State University for a short time, and then she transferred to the Point Park College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Point Park in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater arts.

The Women of CSI: Alexx Woods / Khandi Alexander

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Alexx Woods is a medical examiner, originally from Queens, New York but currently employed by the Miami-Dade Police. She is married with two children and is always upbeat and has a good bedside manner with her patients, despite being a coroner. Alexx has a tendency, displayed in many episodes, to talk to the corpses she is examining. She often addresses the corpses as "sweetie", "honey", or "baby" in a maternal way, and she often comments that the victims were too young to die. It is nearly her mantra. She is also seen addressing her own children in a very natural maternal way when talking about "bad people" to them after a case involving a child.

Khandi Alexander (born September 4, 1957) is an American dancer, choreographer, and film and television actress.
Born in New York City and educated at Queensborough Community College, she appeared on Broadway starring in Chicago, Bob Fosse’s Dancin and Dreamgirls. Also she was a choreographer for Whitney Houston’s world tour from 1988–1992.
Since the early '90s, Alexander has concentrated on film and TV, playing the character Catherine Duke on NewsRadio and the recurring character Jackie Robbins on ER. She is well known for her starring role as a mother addicted to drugs named Fran in The Corner. She has made guest appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NYPD Blue, La Femme Nikita.

Khandi starred in the movie CB4 with Chris Rock and Charlie Murphy. Other film credits include Dark Blue, Sugar Hill, Menace II Society, There's Something About Mary, Rain, and Poetic Justice.
Khandi finished the 2007-2008 season of CBS Hit Show CSI: Miami, but is not returning the following season. Her final appearance aired Monday, May 5, 2008.
