Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to Split?

In case you wondered if Jennifer Lopez has gotten back into shape....she has.

The New York Daily News reported yesterday that celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony would separate, and that the split would be made public onstage at Marc’s show on Feb. 14 at Madison Square Garden.
Okay, stop and think a second.....
Why would you announce a separation on Valentine's Day?
Why would you do it at Madison Square Garden?
Leslie Zelnik told E! News that the rumors were false.
I'm inclined to believe her.
But technically the story was “Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 14,”
After is a different story.
I can believe that one. Valentines Day is the last day of Marc's tour. So after would make more sense.

Paris Hilton in Australia

Paris Hilton, her new BFF Brittany Flickinger and Nicky Hilton are knocking about Sydney Australia this week as Paris gets ready to host the big New Year’s Eve event for Bongo Virus.
Paris is said to be getting a nice $600,000 for hosting the event.

Taylor Swift and Chace Crawford

Country pop singer Taylor Swift told “Your Prom” magazine in a recent interview that her dream date would be “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford.
Well she did date Joe Jonas and the song "Forever and Always" was written by Taylor about Joe Jonas. So there's no accounting for taste.
However, the New York Times said that Taylor "is more in touch with her inner life than most adults" so you have to give the young lady some credit.
On November 11, 2008 she released her latest album "Fearless" and the lead single off the album "Love Story" has become her highest Hot 100 hit on Billboards charts.
And as of the week ending January 3, 2009, Taylor's album is still number one on the charts.
Not only is this young lady Billboard's Top Country Artist and Hot Country Songwriter of 2008, she's also country music's best-selling artist of 2008.

Other than hanging out with Samantha Ronson, what is she doing? Well she does have an album coming out in Spring 2009. And she'll be in "Labor Pains" in 2009, her first movie since "I Know Who Killed Me".

Kim Kardashian...a UN Ambassador for South Africa?

Did I miss something?
According to several news sources Kim Kardashian was asked by United Nations officials at the Empowerment of Africa dinner in New York if she would be interested in becoming a UN ambassador for South Africa.

Okay, this is an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" right?
"Tonight on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim is asked by United Nations officials to become the Ambassador for South Africa. Despite Bruce's objections, Kim accepts and hilarity ensues."
