Of course if you watch the show, you are familiar with two of the most beautiful women on TV, Britta Perry (Gillian Jacobs) and Annie Edison (Alison Brie).
Gillian Jacobs was born in 1982 just a few miles up the road from me in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She grew up in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and moved to New York City, New York in 2000to study acting at The Juilliard School.
On TV she has appeared on shows like The Book of Daniel, she appeared in the first season of Fringe as Joanne Ostlet in the episode "The Equation", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "Royal Pains" and "The Good Wife".
Gillian has also appeared in eleven films, her latest being Helena from the Wedding with Dagmara Dominczyk and Melanie Lynskey.
Alison Brie was born on December 29th, 1983, Pasadena, California, so in real life, Annie is only a year younger than Britta.
Alison (like Annie) is Jewish and started acting in the Jewish Community Center in Southern California.
She graduated with a bachelor's in theater from the California Institute of the Arts with a bachelor's in theater and performed in theatre in California.
She has appeared on "Hannah Montana", "My Alibi" and "Mad Men" amomg other shows.
Alison will also be in the Indy film Montana Amazon with Olympia Dukakis, Haley Joel Osment and Haley Pullos.
